Design of Healing And Working Space Gen-Z With Salutogenic Design Approach At Dukuh Atas- Jakarta

Generation Z stands at the forefront of attention, their deep connection to technology. Yet, this engagement often invites unwarranted criticism from preceding generations, leading to heightened levels of anxiety and depression among Indonesia’s Youth. This Project explores how “Healing” spaces and the concept of “work-life balance,” approached through Salutogenic Design, can offer a remedy to these mental health challenges.

Through thorough analysis, a compelling vision emerges—a space designed for Generation Z that seamlessly integrates Healing and Working areas. Programs that amidst tranquility and productivity, programs for Physical Leisure, Personal Development, and Creative Therapy provides relief from the burdens of anxiety and depression.

7 key design strategies has been identified with the aim 7 design strategies have been identified with the aim of creating conditions where Generation Z can achieve optimal mental health, attain work- life balance, and increase productivity levels. The integration of Healing Space and Working Space with a Salutogenic Design approach is deemed key to achieve the Balance sought by the youth of Indonesia.
