As Peter Zumthor describes, architectural atmospheres are not just physical spaces but also emotional and experiential realms that profoundly influence our perception and behavior within them. Departing from this understanding, our focus shifts to transforming offices from mere workspaces into vibrant hubs of life and culture, where creativity thrives and collaboration flourishes. How do atmospheres impact our daily lives, shaping not only the way we work but also the way we think and interact? In collaboration with Mbloc Academy, this design project is dedicated to revitalizing Peruri.
The goal is to transcend the conventional and conservative atmosphere by infusing it with vitality, innovation, and inclusivity. Through thoughtful design interventions, this design aims to cultivate an atmosphere where employees feel inspired and valued, ultimately fostering a dynamic workplace culture that drives success and fulfillment. The multifaceted functions of the office necessitate a nuanced consideration of atmospheric parameters such as lighting, scale, and proportion. Each function within the workspace demands a tailored approach to its atmospheric elements to optimize functionality, comfort, and productivity.
